Ленино

ЛЕ́НИНО, село в Горецком р-не Могилёвской обл. БССР, близ к-рого 12—13.10.1943 во время Вел. Отеч. войны впервые вступила в бой с нем.-фаш. войсками сформированная в СССР 1-я польск. пех. див. им. Т. Костюшко (ком-р З. Берлинг), входившая в состав 33А Зап. фронта. В Л. открыт Музей сов.-польск. боевого содружества. Село Л. награждено орд. «Крест Грюнвальда» 2-й степени. День 12 окт. стал Днём Войска Польского.
